Val d'Isère has over 50 restaurants in town plus a dozen on the mountains.
And you will lose count of the number of bars! For information on bars, click here.
What follows is just a selection of our own preferences, selected on the basis that they consistently offer good quality
food and attentive service.
|
It is generally advisable to book a table and almost essential for a sit down meal at a mountain restaurant.
Since booking can be difficult in popular restaurants during busy periods, remember to book early in the week.
We are always happy to make the call for you.

Notes: The restaurants are good value for families.
The star rating is Peak Services' own evaluation. You will always have to book to get into the
three *** restaurants. In busy periods you will need to book for some of the
two ** restaurants too.
OUR personal favourite is Le Lodge. It is good value for money, the staff are very friendly and speak good English, and the service is most un-French! Or try the Taverne d'Alsace at a slightly higher price.
