Favourite Bars

The Blue Note - English run bar with quiet background music and Leffe beer.

Pacific Bar - English run and a ‘must’ for watching sport on TV.

Bar XV - Small, typically French bar with rugby theme. Friendly staff and pleasant ambience.

Moris Pub - Very much an English style pub, with great live music during après-ski and later on at night.

Le Petit Danois - A favourite with Scandinavian visitors, it has wickedly strong beer and two pool tables.

Victor’s Bar - The Swedish know how to have a good time. Come here for ‘two for the price of one’ cocktails during happy hour; great for the young and trendy.

Bananas - Everyone has heard of Bananas. Hugely popular for après-ski, especially for the younger age group. Right on the edge of the piste, you can ski in and fall out later. Backgammon boards available if you fancy a quieter après-ski. Mexican food in the evening.

La Rosée Blanche - Across the river at the bottom of La Daille ski area, a warm and cosy recovery bar with the best Vin Chaud in the resort.

Café Face and Le Lodge Bar - It is not just the Scandinavians who know how to après-ski. These two bars, virtually opposite each other, show that the French can do it, too. Café Face starts the evening with low drink prices, which increase each hour as the night progresses. Le Lodge has happy hour drinks and just enough space to prove that you can dance in ski boots.

Hotel Blizzard - Truly luxurious comfort in a beautifully decorated lounge/bar. Chic and relaxing, this is the place to go for a special afternoon tea or hot chocolate.
